Angels | LA | 6 | 60-70 | 120-140 | 150-200 | Not as available as it used to be. A pretty underrated doll.
Cardinals | St Louis | 10 | 600-800 | 1000-1200 | 1200+ | A new find. I've sold 4 in the last few years, 3 of them sold for between $1250 and $1350. Same head mold as the Orioles but with original black, red and white coloring.
Cubs | Chicago | 7 | 100-120 | 140-180 | 180-250 | Fairly tough, doesn't come around often. Have to wait until the 1970's Wedge base set to get another Cub that's not a mascot head.
Giants | SF | 6 | 120-140 | 150-200 | 200-250 | Another pretty tough doll, very hard to find in minty condition. |

Indians | Cleveland | 9 | 250-300 | 300-350 | 400-500+ | Recently added as a part of this set. Previously believed to be a first run Green Base with a white base mold. Very rare, I've only seen it for sale a few times.
Mets | NY | 7 | 120-140 | 150-200 | 220-300 | Another very tough to find doll. Comes with small chest decal.
Orioles | Baltimore | 5 | 100-125 | 150-200 | 200-250 | Oversized head often found damaged. A great looking doll in nice condition. |

Pirates | Pittsburgh | 5 | 90-110 | 120-140 | 140-160 | Fairly tough doll.
Reds | Cincinnati | 7 | 120-160 | 180-225 | 225-300 | Nice and colorful.
Red Sox | Boston | 6 | 100-120 | 150-200 | 225-300 | Average doll in the set.
Senators | Washington | 10 | 600-800 | 1000-1500 | 2000+ | One of the rarest dolls in the hobby. |

Twins | Minnesota | 4 | 60-70 | 80-100 | 100-150 | One of the most plentiful.
Yankees | New York | 4 | 70-80 | 80-120 | 120-160 | Not scarce but Yanks dolls usually sell well. |

Minor Leaguers | Portland Seattle Tacoma |
6-8 | 100-120 | 150-200 | 225-250 | 3 Pacific Coast League teams are represented, Portland Beavers, Seattle Rainiers, and Tacoma Giants. All are scarce with Seattle the hardest to find. Add about 50% for the Seattle doll.
Color Base Boxes | All | 9 |
Color base boxes are plain with
sticker on end. Not exciting but almost impossible to find. Not enough show
up to really figure out what they add to the price.

The Color base set was the inaugural Japan made set. The set is somewhat spotty as not all teams from the era are represented. There are no known examples of the KC A's, White Sox, Tigers, Colt'45's, Dodgers, Braves, or Phillies. The Cardinals example was just recently accepted as legitimately part of the set. The Dodgers did have a wood base doll from the era which is listed in the Baseball oddball section. There is also a Giants, Angels and a very scarce Yankee wood base example.
It's interesting that four of the new teams in 1962 ( Mets, Angels, Senators and Twins) are represented but the new Houston Colt 45's were not.
In this set is the
only doll of the "Old" Washington Senators. They moved to Minnesota and were renamed the Twins. Senator color bases are ultra rare, Twins doll is the most plentiful of the set. More on this in the White base section. Also interesting
to note that the only dolls with base decals are the 3 Pacific Coast League
minor league teams. (probably issued later). Twins doll, as mentioned is the
most available, followed by the Yankees, Angels and Pirates. Senators and
recently
discovered Cards and Indians dolls are the toughest of the bunch. All of the rest are
pretty difficult to find also.
